徐建文，重庆大学数学与统计学院副教授，硕士生导师。2009年6月获得重庆大学计算数学博士学位。曾为澳大利亚昆士兰大学访问学者。
主要研究方向包括统计回归分析、纵向数据分析、高维数据分析等。共发表SCI学术论文20余篇，包括Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, Metrika, Journal of Applied Statistics, Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, Communications in Statistics-Theory and Methods,Communications in Statistics - Simulation and Computation, Statistical Papers等。主持完成国家自然科学基金青年基金1项，重庆市自然科学基金面上项目2项以及多项中央高校及横向项目。
